  Such a fun experience and incredible scenery! We visited the DD Gamble Guest Lodge & Ranch in July arriving late afternoon and pleased it was not difficult to find. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking with recent rains everything was blooming. We have a special love for animals and came to this location to learn about miniature horses and take a relaxing vacation. I was especially pleased my princess chihuahua was not only allowed but "welcomed" in their home. Tom & Alicia are friendly, knowledgable and very accommodating. Their knowledge about the history of the area including the mountains and Mexico kept us in awe, we were unfamiliar that so much history took place. They also took the time to train us on how to train our miniature horse upon returning home. And we even got to experience a day trip to Mexico. The home cooking was exceptional, everything was fresh and the homemade ice cream is to die for. There is so much to explore and the colors of the sunrise are fabulous. We are planning a return trip this winter.
